Notice to the Chancellor ( B.H.U ) regarding unjust admission procedure for admission to LL.B,

To
The vice chancellor,
Dr.Lalji Singh,
Banaras Hindu University,
Varanasi ( Uttar Pradesh).

Subject:- A notice against the unjust admission procedure of the university for LL.B Course.

Respected Sir,

I would like to bring it to your notice that your university has grossly violated the rights of all those candidates who have completed their High School/ Secondary or Intermediate/Senior Secondary level (10+2) through the distance education by unjustly denying admission in L.L.B course on the name of bar council of India directives.
In order to clarify you in this regard I am herewith enclosing a copy of RTI reply which I received from the Bar council of India’s PIO Shri J.R Sharma dated on 12th 5th 2012 .The said officer has clearly stated that there is no such bar on those students who had completed High School/ Secondary or Intermediate/Senior Secondary level (10+2) through the distance education for admission in L.L.B. course and no such direction as mentioned in your university website was given by the BCI to any educational institution affiliated or recognized by BCI.

As you are well aware of the fact that in the Undergraduate Entrance Test (UET) conducted by your institution where the said candidates were not allowed to apply were of no reason denied an opportunity to appear in the entrance test for admission in L.L.B. course in this academic year.
Therefore as a matter of right,I on behalf all the aggrieved candidates would humbly request you to place a public apology as quick as possible( Since it is a very serious case of violation of fundamental rights i.e Right to education )for unreasonably denying admissions to the said candidates and cancel all the admission activities which took place till date in this academic year (2013-14) and freshly conduct the entrance examination by justly permitting the candidates who had completed High School/ Secondary or Intermediate/Senior Secondary level (10+2) through the distance education to appear in (UET) for L.L.B. course, otherwise I will be left with no other option but to seek  legal remedyfrom the appropriate legal authority against the unjust admission procedure of your University.

I am herewith enclosing the following

1)      RTI reply letter from the PIO of BCI
2)      The copy of the admission procedure as mentioned in your website
3)      The copy of official letter written by the Secretary of Association of indian universities(AIU) to Secretary N.I.O.S.
4)      The copy of RTI reply which I received from PIO of N.I.OS.
